Quantitative Tomography Laboratory

The Quantitative Tomography Laboratory (Director: Dr. Arman Rahmim) pursues interdisciplinary research towards enhanced quantitative image generation and analysis for tomographic medical imaging devices (e.g. PET, SPECT). The team focuses on applications in cancer imaging (including a provincial PET physics program at the BC Cancer Agency) as well as brain imaging (Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease). The team aims to develop and validate novel solutions for medical device data acquisition, data correction, image reconstruction and quantification. The team seeks solutions that can transform clinical practice and make a difference in healthcare and in people’s lives. For more details, please see: www.rahmimlab.com
