The Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) is currently offering 6 or 12 month Breast Imaging Fellowships to career minded Radiologists. This is your opportunity to establish a rewarding career and make a significant difference in the lives of women throughout British Columbia.
As you rotate through three complementary partner sites, BC Women’s Hospital, Dr. Linda Warren & Associates(505 Clinic), and the BC Cancer Agency-Vancouver Centre, you will gain invaluable experience in screening and diagnostic mammography; breast ultrasound; breast MRI; fine needle aspirations; ultrasound, stereotactic and MRI guided biopsies; galactography; and pre-operative localization procedures.
This outstanding fellowship opportunity will build on the competencies you’ve gained through radiology residency training and enable you to become a competent specialist in the area of breast imaging. You will be called upon to participate in breast-related academic and clinical activities as well as teaching for radiology and surgical residents, and will be given the opportunity to take part in breast imaging related research projects.
To qualify, you must be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Diagnostic Imaging. You must also be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia. Please note: We will not respond to those who do not meet these qualifications.
